WOW, never knew about that guy. I just joined in May. I'm glad he got outed. And yes, impersonating a military officer is punishable by the UCMJ. I did see the king air/Lear guy here a couple days ago. I guess aviation really is that cool that people need to pretend they are something they're not.

Maybe I could join a truck driving forum and act like a truck driver. By the way does anyone have the number for Truck Masters? I just did a flyby over the admirals daughter and I might be looking for a career change.
I kid, I kid, But seriously, that would be funny.
 
Oh, and BTW Mike, you now have over 8000 posts! I am humbled. You are a busier person than me so I have no excuse for neglecting JC for these past few months.

Yeah, I was wondering how Giants_fan ended up behind bars. I'm sure there is a story there.

That's amazing that it's been 3 years since the TomCatter incident. Makes me feel a little old.
 
Speaking of Tomcats, my dad is going to some huge party for anyone that had anything to do with F-14s in a few weeks in VA. Sort of a farewell to the plane. Anyone on here going to that?

He was NEVER a CHQ CA - that was pure BS!

He lied to everyone, including himself, although he was basically a good guy.

I miss him, but I also see how he got himself in trouble.

I'll tell that story at NetworkJC too.
 
What ever happend to that guy impersonating an F-16 pilot on the flight sim board that Citationkid uncovered?

It looked like he was associated with the USAF in some way, but he seriously misrepresented himself and got burned.

I'm actually 16 years old and fly Learjets for a virtual airline. The picture of my plane is in my avatar. I have to say though; it's pretty much just like the real thing, ATC and all!

Are you guys mad at me? After all, this charade has been going on for about 5 years now. I feel bad. :confused:

Liar!!!!! I have seen the plane and sat in it too. I am going to tell the owner and the guy who manages it..... :D
