Hey All,

Got back yesterday from a LOOOOONG XC. Coast to coast! One of my instrument students bought a Cherokee 6 that was just north of San Francisco and asked me to fly it back with him and check him out in it...

20.1 Hours, 10 States, 3 days, 1 cool trip.

Surprisingly no...

Only one stretch was IFR, the last 15 miles into Bakerfield, CA. The rest was good clear VFR the entire way across the country. We didn't even file IFR after Prescott.

That's why I don't leave here. I KNOW I'd have trouble leaving Marin....by the way, I got the reference..

I saw Styx for 50¢ at a high school dance on the South side of Chicago growing up, that's how Old School I am...

I'm going to guess 5 days. If you are in a large moving truck towing a truck any way. At least that's what it took us to drive from SF to Jacksonville, FL. Although I know someone who did it in about 48 hours doing some non-stop team driving of their truck...
