FAA suspending parallel approach at SFO

I always thought flying into SFO would be cool but maybe I should be thankful for OAK. It sounds like it could easily become a PITA. Do they still have the note in the ATIS to be ready for last minute departure runway changes?
 
SFO has been a very consistent bid avoid for me, for quite a while now. I do miss the airport hotel. That place was super nice. I think it is gone now (for us) though. I haven't been back since then.

Yes, because they base your 28L/28R departure assignment on arrival spacing, which sometimes just doesn't work out.

It's an airport with too few runways for the arrival demand, and too little paved space to store airplanes, especially with the current construction.
