Flying American BNA-CLT-PVD today. Seems like everything is delays 2+ hours.
Computer meltdown? Typical summer volume?

I recently waited 2+ hours in a line at Schlitterbahn. I have the experience. I'm ready for this career! They closed a major runway at DFW. Its causing some 2+ hour taxis, which caused crew timeouts and mx issues.

Continuing with my Texas aside...when did Schlitterbahn decide to suck? So much for sharing the joyful places of my youth with my kids.

I always cringe when people ask to “shut them both down”, don’t do it! If you ever have that happen to you once, it changes you, never again! Most summers my DFW-based family plays the game "Let's Go To Newark." It's a branching storyline survival game and no playthrough is the same. I'm not sure how it got its name; often you don't actually go to Newark.
In one version, you arrive at the airport in the early morning, then after boarding the aircraft for the second time, have the APU fail with the main engines shutdown on the holding pad. As the cabin bakes in the Texas heat with no air conditioning, you watch your children flush red but stay calm; the grown ups around you gradually lose their sanity. After an hour, the aircraft makes it back to a gate in Terminal C. You limp off the sauna, and the passengers there ask where you came in from. You reply Terminal A. As you wait until the evening, the airline eventually informs you that there are no seats available on the remaining flights. You will not be going to Newark. You ask to reclaim your bags. Sorry sir, but that is not possible. Your bags are in Newark.
I never had a step mother. Is that a thing too? Ha!
Step sister does the same! She's ALWAYS getting her hand stuck in the dryer.
So clumsy!
