This is Envoy....

Can anyone confirm how seniority at AA works when you get hired? Does tenure only matter within your hiring class or overall?
Ex. Someone has worked at Envoy for 5+ years, would they be #1 in their class but start over at AA or would they jump above those who have been at AA for less than 5 years?
AA internal has seniority over Envoy or any other external (whether from a wholly owned, contract regional or competitor) within the same class.

There might be some confusion over this because of the trend over the last few years of running multiple classes. The earlier class has typically been Envoy heavy, while the later class typically has more internals and other externals. This results in the Envoy folks with the same offer/interview date ending up with higher seniority, but that's because they were in the earlier class start date.

Neither. Envoy seniority doesn't matter at all, your seniority will be based on age like other externals.

No, not only for vacation accrual. I literally was given lower seniority than someone else in my class who was younger than me, but had 3 years Envoy seniority. Anyone else who doesn't know what they are talking about want to tell me how things go at my work?
lol okay. How do you fix a red brick? Also have you actually read the envoy agreement?

And yes I have. It's Letter E - AA FLOWTHROUGH AGREEMENT. It applies to more than just dispatch. It states that for dispatchers if you have at least 36 months of service with Envoy, your company seniority carries over. Your seniority within your hiring class is based on company seniority first, then age.

Post it then.

You labor under the delusion that I care about convincing you. I don't. I'm providing information to those who wanted it. Whether they or you believe me or not has zero effect on the accuracy of said information.
And your implication that I would post information as fact that I don't know to be fact is more of a confession on your part than anything.

Have you ever heard of rage baiting? I know you love to argue on Facebook too. Trust me when I say no one labors over what you have to say.

I'd have to give a $h!t what you think for you to "rage bait" me. Also, in my world we call "rage baiters" a$$holes. If you want to troll people, go somewhere else. This is supposed to be a board for providing people with helpful information in their search for a job. Not a place for 5 year olds to play schoolyard games to make themselves feel cool.

Aww. The only 5 year old here is you bubba. But whatever helps you sleep better, or not sleep at all.

This is incorrect, it only assures that you are given an interview and will be placed on the preferred hiring list. It is not an assurance of hire to AA.

He can from PSA so the likelihood of him actually having it in hand is slim. Sounds like he got screwed over and is bitter. But then again, he always has to be right no matter what the situation is.

Line 13. Employee will retain and carry Company seniority to his/her new position but other seniority and benefits will be as provided at the new position. Vacation accrued at the time of leaving Envoy Air Inc. will be paid off at the appropriate rate and will not be carried over to the new position.

I like Ike never said anything about assurances going to AA from Envoy, he was speaking about seniority.

There is a difference between "always has to be right" and being willing to defend your position because you made SURE you were right before you opened your mouth. You never know what someone's connections are...
