Cessna 337C

The easy ones are getting hard, and the fussy ones are getting very, very difficult. Unless you live next to a shop that has you covered, it's going to be a tough row.

Something like a 337, you'll need to be proactive. There's no such thing as a cheap twin.
It literally has 337 in the name. It tells you what form you’re gonna need from the shop when they replace parts 😬

There’s a P337 Riley Rocket Super Skymaster i snapped some pics of here at DVT around the corner from our hangar. Might be for sale.

Got a few hours in a skysmasher in my younger years. Always enjoyed flying it as it flew much like a C210 which was my favorite single engine piston. Having said that….the maintenance, especially on the rear engine with its lack of sufficient cooling, is a nightmare and rarely makes TBO. I wouldn’t advise buying one unless you have unlimited funds or you’re an A&P or have a friend who’s one.

I’d say wait 6 months if you can, pistons twins always get cheap when fuel gets expensive and I don’t believe that’s really hit the 100LL world quite yet.
You’d think, but people have been predicting the demise of the piston twin for 20 years now, and prices are as high as ever.

if its turbo 360’s- they have like a 1400 hour to- which is a bummer. If it’s got the 540’s it’s much better. I’m not sure which ones the Riley rockets came with however as I’m not really interested in a piston pressurized airplane.
