China Eastern A350 Brake Fail/Jetway Oopsie

Older Airbusses, you needed to be “off steering and brakes” during a power transfer (shutting off an engine/ APU on, etc), but I thought they fixed that a looong time ago…
 

The 350 even has double parking brakes.

Is that an issue that’s likely to happen on Airbus products?

In the olden days before the modification, Soooooooometimes when there was a power interruption (shutting one down to single-engine taxi or transferring over the APU power), the BSCU (Brake/Steering Control Computer) would perform a bit test and release any steering input or any brake application as the test progressed.

This was all an issue as I was making my first airbus transition from the Boeings, but had been fixed.

Not saying it’s what happened here, but yeah we still kept that memory action:
