TEB ILS Z RWY06 changes

Heads up, Corpies. The ILS 6 has been changed.

DANDY is now AT 1300 (down from 1500), so if you space out and just arm the approach and wait for glideslope capture from 2000', you're going to be really really high at DANDY, cause Delta on the ILS 22 into EWR to respond to an RA, and likely have @NovemberEcho issue you a Brasher.

Tbf, you won’t be landing 6 if EWR is landing 22. Not sure why they dropped it down to 1300, maybe so we can start turning our EWR 4 departures earlier?

On the plus side though we now have an actual approach to Rwy 1 so the ILS 6 circle 1 should no longer be a thing unless your company didn’t bother uploading the approach to 1.

I do have a question though. VINGS is now hard at 2000, as opposed to previous at or above. When EWR is landing 11 and TEB 6, I always issue VINGS at 3,000 DANDY 1,300 cleared approach to cross the EWR 11 final which is at 2,000. Will this be an issue for yall?

Fair, but who knows with TEB. They'll routinely land with a 10+ knot tailwind to avoid turning the airport around.

Don't even get me started on the 6 circle 1 accident-waiting-to-happen.

Not really too much of an issue depending on FMSs. Some allow you to change charted altitudes and others don't. To make it simple I would stick to charted altitudes if possible.
