I have very objectively had worse landings in this thing.

I wonder if the west jet pilot chat/rumor mill is as hot with bad info and conjecture right now as ours was after the SNA bird also had a trunion pin failure like this one just did. "ahhhh new hire/diversity hire/9000 fpm descent rate/management pilot/all other standard go-to explanations (or in this instance ahhh Quebecois pilot maybe?)"

Weirdly enough, that rumor isn’t out there.

Also, I’ve never heard a Canadian cat meowing on guard.
 
Godalmighty thank you @derg for not skeeting even one-tenth of the inline ads present in that Canadian aviation forum.

Every other ad was some anime tiddies and wrinkle remover (I feel unjustly targeted). Any discussion was, sadly, inscrutable.

Haha not even an exaggeration, every single ad was big ass titties and AI with big ass titties. I was gonna say that is a record for how quickly its algorithm correctly identified my interests, but now that I read this, it seems less personal. Unless you are also an ass and titty man.....

Also I did not receive any wrinkle remover ads, so that might be a you thing :)

It was obviously very gusty/windy. Looks like a huge side load to me. If it turns out to be within design specs and a mechanical failure then I applaud their efforts to maintain control during the event.

I'm slightly disappointed. It only showed me ads for guitars and motorcycle accessories.

Which isn't wrong.

But I'm disappointed.
