Last bid was a reduction and there were 3 proffered PIC positions made available, due to voluntary downgrades. The most junior of these positions was awarded to a 13 year pilot.
I doubt this one will be any different.
Weird that a position bid with upgrades for less than .1% of the pilot group went senior.

From the cheap (right) seats, I do welcome this. Wont equate to much movement, but it is better than the backward slide in relative seniority I've had in the last year, I guess as they brought the FOFIs back to the line? Which also wasn't a huge movement, but a couple % anyway

One pilot who chose to do so sat in the jumpseat. It was all he talked about. SEA based.
No, but it will go more junior than the last one and that trend should continue.

6 MAX 8 coming in 2026. If 2025 hiring results in proper staffing (no more VBROs in any base) there should be 84 pilots hired in 2026 to cover this flying.

That would put me like 140 from the bottom if they actually hire 30 this year as well.
Probably not far enough to escape reserve abuse in SEA even if every pilot junior to me were in SEA
