Congrats! I only got time in the 500.Just finished up my EMB-550 type. I’m excited to see how the plane really flies. Anyone have any experience on it?
How do you like it? Did you fly it at the same time as another type?Congrats! I only got time in the 500.
The 500 was a good little airplane as long as you stayed inside the boundaries. It’s not to be tested. Especially on wet runways. As long as the principle in the back understands that sometimes conditions can n prevent mission accomplishment then all is well. There braked are it’s Achilles heel. Also it has no spoilers. How do you like it? Did you fly it at the same time as another type?
Yeah I know. In my congrats post up there I said I only had time in the EMB500.Warddog, I can’t tell from your comments, but it sure looks like you are referring to the Phenom 100 not the Legacy/Praetor.
The performance of the EMB545/EMB550 is great, TR’s make contaminated runways less of an issue, the brake system is great (like the 300) and does not have the issues that the 100 does.
The OP is referring to a Legacy/Praetor - the EMB545/550 series, not to be confused with the Phenom 100, which is and EMB500 type rating. The Phenom 300 is an EMB505.

Sorry for the confusion.
