2023 in Review...How Much Did You Fly?

Hah thank you sir! I've only tried on the pilot page/quals

edit: I wasn't far off, 267 hrs blocked. Fun fact I discovered.....my ATP was in 1999. And you can also see real time seniority number there, rather than in the random lists that get published every 6 months. Thanks!

Where is the real time seniority number?

Hit the line in APR
479.9 Block
82 Landings
Dont ask what percentage of that was a red eye….

Poor choice of words on my part. It's the sen # that is in CA, which I assume is derived from the same place they get it for the bid awards?

I don’t think that’s correct? The best way to see if you’re moving up is on the seniority list published for monthly bids.

On the OF/RSV list I moved up one number from the bottom this month! Woo!

401 hours in the past 365 days.

I can't easily generate a map, but if I did, it would have a bunch of lines squiggled all over the middle part of the country and a bunch of lines shooting from the Midwest down to Florida and Arizona.

I'm going to just barely maintain both Hilton Diamond and Marriott Platinum status.

Yeah sorry that is what I was talking about. Also, I don't claim to know much about any of this, very certainly not anything to do with life admin / contracts / non-flying things. :)

Our seniority numbers don’t change until the 6 month company update in Feb, Aug.

The ALPA monthly list has your updated number.

One of these days I will figure out my login to the ALPA website again. Though the app on my phone works fine, so I guess there is that. Reading the contract is how I fall asleep. Side note, I've been catching up on the MEC podcasts on Spotify. They are the weirdest, but there is some good info for guys like me who don't know anything I suppose. My wife started reading a book on a drive to SEA and in protest I threw it on. Everyone was like "NOOOOOOOOOOOOO DAAAAAADDDDD STAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHPPPPPPP" and I laughed like an evil villain.

No wonder a lot of people left K4 lol.
Well, I mean, rough, unknown schedules, unknown destinations vs (except me…I’ll be in Asia, as always), 14-16 days at a time, 4+ year upgrade, an anemic retirement, pay that is meh, no soft time, and flying balls to the wall for years, what’s not to love??

8 years, 8 months, and 15 days, not that I’m counting!

Also, what is K4? I fly for the MRDSCC! ;)
