Ameriflight Drone

Think of all the money spent on this technology, the air trafffic control to handle it, the airplanes themselves...all to avoid paying a 23 year old to fly and load a 40 year old Beechcraft.

The salary is way up there now though! Beech 99 pilot starts at 76k and you only need the bare mins 135 IFR to get into it. The metro and beech 1900 pay is at 87k and the Brasilia/Saab pay for captains is 97k.

BucEEs car wash manager is 125k, so meh :)

So frustrating to have lived on food stamps for years when a live-able wage was possible. I’m happy for the folks that are enjoying it now though.

I akways did decently at AMF because I was TDY for quite some time. So I was pulling nearly 70 grand flying the metro when we were doing Ad-Hoc. But yeah.... they could have definitely paid more than they claimed.

Yea to captain a commercial cargo aircraft in 2023 is still well below what it should be. The risk, the danger, the responsibility. All to fly by yourself for significantly less money than an FO at every regional right now.

For how many days AMF pilots work and for what they do, that money is crap.

A350. Like any other airplane, it’ll allow you to eff up when you’re incompetent. Hand flying Pulls altitude for open descent, does not follow flight directors. Oh, I know where this game is headed…

I personally go on career oriented websites of an industry i left and can't wait to celebrate people losing their livelihoods and looking forward to saying "I told you so".
That's enough internet for awhile.
Maybe when people get automated out of jobs and can't pay rent we can find a landlord forum to go taunt him on when he whines that nobody's paying him.

I like that it parallels your course way better than what Dassault came up with which was a 90 degree turn. Better hope you wake up before you hit something depending on what part of the world you are in.

We had one of your retired guys as an instructor a few years ago that had been on that thing. It was like watching someone explain sex to an alien when he was telling some of our only flown a 737 guys about it.
What's the bottom altitude? The jet I'm on now does the 90 degree turn emergency descent as well but levels you at 15k.

Hilarious FSD footage:

I rented a Model 3 for a few days last year when I was thinking of getting one. Cool car, but it did some weird crap like phantom braking, and totally lost the road a few times from sun glare. There’s absolutely no way FSD can handle routing winter mountain driving either.

Tesla fanboys are a strange bunch, so unwilling to face reality.
