United

Does anyone know the payscale for the new United Dispatcher contract?
Unless this has been amended again here it is, and its 10 yr… This is without the license pay that you receive after training. They also get a $3000 signing bonus and then $500 a month for 18 months just to go from Willis Tower to Arlington Heights. Even if they already live in Chicagoland. Bonus does not apply to January class or later.

Does United offer other work schedules besides the one listed in the spreadsheet?

You could also work a bid relief schedule. ;)

But you have unlimited trading ability after you get signed off. So you can make your schedule what you want. Just have to find trade partners.

Direct match of DL starting pay.
It seems like a pretty dang good raise for the newbies, but I don’t remember what the top out pay was before. Is it a significant raise for senior folks as well, just curious what else could be done better? Thanks.

I do know AA is now the lowest paying legacy of the big 3. And has the longest training period, with the toughest software to learn. On top of that they only start newbies at 79% of the pay so they’re making $64k for 6 months give or take, before finally making $81k, and then finally the license pay you receive after training. That’s now $20k less than UA and DL during training, and $10k+ less after training. After inflation even in DFW, $64k doesn’t go very far these days. I hope AA renegotiates soon and matches UA and DL.

Look at the work schedules of AA vs the others… 4-3-4-4 and 8 hour shifts… you have much more time off or the ability to pick up more OT etc
