Embraers and speed…

It’s faster than the .68 the SkyWest you must have gotten stuck behind was doing :p
Lol… this whole “no passing in the sky” thing is absurd. But yeah it was great pains for them to do 290kts. (Slower than our max endurance speed).

seems to happen daily now though.

At my old shop we went everywhere at 280/.78
I liked there about that to .76. Made the fuel numbers a nice even 3000lb an hour. It seemed like even the slight bump up to .78 increased the fuel burn pretty dramatically.

I love telling people the flight level change climb schedule for the 145 and seeing the look of horror on their faces.

240 to 10,000, 270 to .56 (or maybe .65 but I think it’s the slower.)

I remember leaving the 145 after 5 years and then flying the 747. First flight climbing out at 350kts and thinking this is nice.

Wasn't that bad. For awhile when TSA got the XR's we were still required to wear David Clamps. So the pain of those headsets outweighed the noise in the cockpit.

We’ve got XRs but they’re not forcing the clamps on us, thank Buddha.

I’ve been told more than once that if you have to be TSOd for a headset, the Bose Proflight is a winner in the 145.
