I happen to think the story of that 172 is pretty impressive when you look into it a bit deeper. Two dudes in a 172 for more than two months without landing. I have no idea why they did it, but I think it's awesome that they did.

Assuming these people are too dumb to use VPNs, I would love to see an IP address “family tree” of which troll accounts lead back to which original accounts. Or one of those investigation bulletin boards from cop movies where pictures of suspects are linked together with red string. This is what I imagine the mod-only sub forums must be like. :bounce:

IP addresses are so… passe! There are “other tools“ at our disposal.

I only just found out on my last trip through LAS that it isn’t LAS McCarran Intl Airport. FO commutes from LAS and said it was Reid. I had no idea.

No. I hate that sort of stupidity. Airplanes function because of air, it's in the name. "Given the right amount of thrust and the correct angle of attack a barn door can fly", that's an old saying I first heard in A/P school that still holds true.

They changed the name while I was on leave. My first trip back passed through LAS. App handed us over to “Reid tower” and it didn’t process until we taxied off the runway. I did a “wait, what”.
