Sure is a mysteryI wonder how being a garbage human got normalized.

I don't even like wearing pants, but apparently that's what they call a societal norm and if I want to function in society I'm supposed to wear pants. Where is the outrage for them forcing us to wear pants?
Plus I think now it's a whole lot more socially acceptable to be a poo bag of a human being. Even just a few years ago that kind of stuff would lead to embarrassment, now all kinds of awful behavior gets you elevated to "freedumb fighter" and "patriot."

Reading a v interesting book on the evangelical angle of it. lil weird having lived through parts of itKind of a chicken or the egg thing though I think.
I think we should form a militia.
Wait. that sounds like meetings, planning, training… and stuff?
Too much work, I’m out.
But no pants!
First the front desk won’t give you your Marriott rewards for the hotel your airline paid for, then some schmuck makes you comply with minimally intrusive corporate rules…when does this tragedy end?
I remember seeing lots of that last summer.Plus I think now it's a whole lot more socially acceptable to be a poo bag of a human being. Even just a few years ago that kind of stuff would lead to embarrassment, now all kinds of awful behavior gets you elevated to "freedumb fighter" and "patriot."
The guy was a “kyle rittenhouse” type. Self-appointed rule enforcer.Front desk lady was vaxxed. I was vaxxed. Guy complaining about my mask was vaxxed.
So what’s the problem?
Fear. You weren't afraid enough for him. You should have been more afraid of the virus with a 99.7% chance of survival.Front desk lady was vaxxed. I was vaxxed. Guy complaining about my mask was vaxxed.

There’s not a problem.
A company set its rules and then enforced them. I bet there’s 10 things you do on every flight that seem dumb but you do them because your company tells you to.
I met my wife and kids at a big hospital downtown for the boys’ second vaccines this week and I beat them there by 10mins. I got kicked out of a chair in the main lobby by security because they don’t let people loiter there now. It was mildly annoying, but probably about the 8th most irritating thing that happened that day.
I get it, it seems dumb. But I’m not sure which is sillier, the rule or posting “WHEN WILL THE MADNESS FINALLY END!!” in multiple threads.

The company? No.

The problem is that some people get aroused by thinking that they’re better than everyone else and trying to impose their supposed superior morals on you. It’s just like religious people trying to codify their superstitions into law.
And then there are the enablers on this thread who just want you to put up with it quietly. I say hell no. There’s nothing noble about following stupid rules.
You really mad that you can't book that all inclusive trip to Botswana, bro? Really? Like, Really???
