737 goes down off Hawaii

Are they all certified airplanes? Engines for thrust? wings for lift? Manipulation of four forces? Management of energy?

Act accordingly. Not to be a dick, but essentially and ultimately, an airplane is an airplane. All the stuff in between is a bit of book work, but rather insignificant to the bigger picture of understanding and controlling a flying machine.

When you learn to fly this…

But you can also fly this…

Legally, all single pilot, with some engines with fadec and some without under the same type rating…ya might have a problem.

Can't see your pics, but I assume you are displaying the various panels/avionics migrating from a CJ1 to a CJ2 to a 1+ to a 2+ to a 3+ to a 4. And yeah, you do need to know the differences, but learning those differences is really quick and easy if you deeply understand the underlying principles.
A lot of the specifics are like figuring out where the headlight switch is on a previously undriven model of rental car.
For all the important stuff: what makes the airplane fly, what makes it stop flying, when to turn on the headlights, etc... the type of airplane is largely irrelevant.

I have no "restrictions" on my ATP certificate

Not for your ATP certificate. It was a type rating thing. Look on the back side, towards the bottom of your cert, below all the type rating aircraft. Do you see anything there that says [aircraft type] “circle to land VMC only.”

?

Does FedEx do circle to land in IMC (were you checked out in the sims for that)?

My type ratings are attached to my ATP certificate.

don’t know why they can’t just recover it, at least the empennage or even the engines, if not the whole thing. The NTSB can make a request to the USN supervisor of salvage for that. They can even dive to it as a gas dive.

we’ve recovered aircraft and munitions, and even parts of submarines, from far far deeper locations.

Have they said how deep it is?I can’t imagine that it’s that deep where they went down, then again I know very little about anything.

How technical you getting, can’t you answer a simple question?

Ok, look on the back side of your pilot certificate. Find the limitations portion. It should be where it says “English Proficient.”

Now in this section do you see anything that lists any type rating, with the words “Circ Apch - VMC Only”

Too deep for tech divers, so special equipment recovery is required.

The last statements I saw said their is intent to perform a recovery the recorder in the future, but not in a timetable that is going to happen within the regular investigation.

Oh you mean limitations. Words matter.

I don’t have a circling restriction on my ATP. I do have limitations for circling on my BE-1900, SF-340 and A-320 types, as well as SIC only on my BE-1900, DA-50 and SF-340 types. Nothing on the CL-600, DA-2000 or HS-125 types. I’m also English proficient so I know the difference between a limitation and restriction.

Well forgive me. We started this adventure with you not even knowing what airplanes you can fly and then telling me I have a "restriction" on mine that says I can only fly for a particular airline. But yes let me get you the answers you desire.

Now you’re just arguing to argue. No where did I say anything about a restriction preventing you “fly for a particular airline.”

When you say “Just because it’s legal doesn’t mean it’s wise” in the context that you did, it sounds like you think it is legal to fly a classic without differences training(?). I don’t know for a fact if that is true in the 737 or not, but I do know that my Learjet 45 type rating allows me to fly all variants (40, 45, 70, 75), but only with the appropriate differences training as spelled out (in excruciating detail) in the Flight Standards Board report. Admittedly I’m not sure if the FSB report requirements apply to purely Part 91 operations, but they sure do for 135, and I would assume something similar for 121 ops.
Nice. Thank you English professor.

And as usual, no answer.
I have a question for you…can you legally fly a 737 “Classic” without differences training?

You sure on that English proficient thing?

Company limited, as in a FOM thing (or whatever your company calls it, GOM, etc).

We cannot fly for another airline concurrently with our own, unless on a leave with approval of the CP, largely with the intent to keep 117 flight time preserved for our own shop. I assume the same for you? Cargo carve out, so previous rest rules. But still while you can fly a FedEx MD11, but on your 5 days you wouldn’t fly a 4 day trip for someone like Western Global. And if you quit FedEx (not that you would) to go to Western Global, they’d make you go through their MD11 course and have you re-learn the plane how they want it done/flown.

I have a feeling you know all this, but just trying to be difficult.
