Looking at the skills required for this position, I can't imagine that there's a lot of candidates currently in the job market that meet the qualifications for this position.
But at the end of the day, it's a dispatch job at UPS which means job security.

Job Summary:
The Flight Planning Support Supervisor supports the Lufthansa Integrated Dispatch Operations (LIDO) flight planning application used to maintain operational control of UPS flights. He/She maintains real time, mission critical, aeronautical data within the LIDO application in accordance with Federal Aviation Administration regulations. Applies data and functions to the application to maximize effectiveness and monitors UPS interfaces and servers to ensure Flight Control Dispatchers have the ability to calculate flight plans and monitor flights. Rotate shift every 6 weeks.
Job Description:
Maintains availability of the LIDO Flight Planning System and programs necessary to support to ensure proper planning and operational control of UPS flight segments. Monitors tools displaying current status of applications and interfaces to ensure proper operation. Obtains over flight permits to allow aircraft to fly in foreign approved airspace. Conducts data maintenance activities to ensure background data is current and regulatory compliant. Audits and updates (e.g., block hour reports, over flight cost reports, taxi time audits, etc.) to adhere to regulatory requirements and ensure effective operation of the Airline. Completes test scripts for monthly patch installations and version changes to ensure systems function correctly.
Performs post patch installations to ensure the patch has been deleted and data is flowing as required.

- International Aircraft Dispatch Experience.
- 4 Years Lido Experience (User or Administrator).
