If anybody wants to buy a 747 job that may or may not exist

Honest question. The mins are a 747 type with X amount of TPIC in type, and $150,000, if someone meets those requirements they should be able to see through this nonsense right? Right?

One would think that if you already have that kind of flight time, and $150k in disposable cash around - you would already be established in a career.

Then again, pilots are, special. "Hey, you're only a couple years away from retiring and you don't have a pre-nup, are you sure you want to start an affair with a flight attendant NOW?"

"My third ex-partner can't get at my savings if it's invested in my current source of income. I'm on the ground floor for this!"

There's not a big difference between a scam and a risky go-for-broke business venture.

Given that they're hoping to operate in the USA, it's a scam or teenage dream.

I've actually seen deals like this succeed in the short term in the Middle East. A marginally airworthy aircraft is identified and pilots and investors are solicited for Haj flights.

So in summary:

1. Get hired by Atlas and earn 747 type
2. Save $150k
3. Spend it on imaginary carrier and fly imaginary trips
4. Profit?

:p

Invest 150K in indexed funds probably earn a much better ROI than a fictitious airline, and I prefer real trips thankyouverymuch have a nice day.
