Kalitta flies US evacuees back from China

It’s usually the first 3,000 feet. The large white markings are painted every 500 feet with the ones at 1,000 feet from the threshold painted solid and the others are usually stripes that become smaller every 500 feet.


Also, this runway has a displaced threshold of 1,000 feet. Maybe that’s why it appeared they missed it.

All that said, I saw in the video they touched down about 1,000 feet beyond the 1,000 foot markers, still clearly within the first 3,000 feet.

To be fair, I've felt like I was going to die from Corona Flu, and the Heineken Flu, and the Dos Equis flu, there's also some sort of stolichnaya-syndrome I was exposed to in HS. Those are the same thing, right?
