Strange one, looks like all thrust was lost.

Narrative:
The private plane with 9 people on board made an emergency landing in a cornfield due to a probable engine failure, 6 km from Otamendi, shortly after arriving at its destination and in the middle of the storm.
No injuries declared.
 
Yup, they first lost one engine and 5 mins later the other one. Both ended up being stuck and couldn't be restarted in flight.

It’s a requirement in recent Diesel engines.

The reservoir looks similar enough to FSII/Prist for the lowest IQ individuals to be able to mix them up when refilling.

I think the tally is 2 citations have landed without engines, one falcon that lost 2/3, a F-16 and some others. 7 airplanes in OMA and 5 in APF according to the FAA.

Oh, I know the history here. We just missed the first mess with TACair in OMA. I went looking for that first SAIB — there were almost double that number were exposed. “Hey, what do you make of this NOTAM?” was going all around the office before we heard what was going on.

I was just wondering whether Brazil has the same stringent environmental regs like those i the US. If not, would they have DEF? Just like there are several vehicles you can’t in the US because of emissions.

Yes. They have and use DEF.
 
DEF is bad bad news. Crystallizes out of solution and blocks fuel filters. Just a little bit causes big problems.

That stuff should be banned within 50 miles of any airport.
