Honda Aircraft Company unveils the HondaJet Elite:
  • The HondaJet Elite has achieved an extended range of an additional 17% (+396km) and is equipped with a newly developed noise attenuating inlet structure that lines each engine and greatly reduces high frequency noise to enhance cabin quietness.
Key features of the HondaJet Elite –
  • Range: 1,437 nautical miles* Longer range makes it the furthest-flying aircraft in its class
  • Noise Attenuating Engine Inlets: Advanced inlet technology created to reduce exterior and interior noise
  • Performance Management: Provides optimized performance planning for all phases of flight such as airspeed / cruise altitude, fuel flow, etc
  • Takeoff/Landing Distance (TOLD) Management: Automatic computation of the required runway length, V-speeds, climb/approach gradients, etc
  • Stability and Protection with Roll and AoA Functions**: Provides enhanced safety features for manual flying that will deter aircraft operation outside the normal flight envelope

My daily rider is a 1967 Honda 305 Dream which I bought at a junkyard for $150 twenty year ago. It required only minimal work to make it road-worthy again and it still runs just fine.
Honda builds good stuff!

There are parts of it that are quite striking from a distance, however, once you stand next to one it looks so cheaply made.
 
Yes? I mean my headset has Bluetooth but afaik there isn’t like a Bluetooth connection to the audio panel...I should check next time though.

Score one for the legacies. We've refit the PMA8000BT into most of our audio panels. The BT function never gets used, of course ;)
