Antisocial Monster
All my friends that are new at Delta. “I’m going to the same damn places.”
Longer legs in older airplanes with grumpier captains for more money.
It's a fair trade off, but again, what would anyone expect?

Well, back in the day places like the above mentioned were served only by RJs. Now they aren’t.
Funny enough I have had more issues in our 700s than our 200s for the most part as far as abnormalities and I fly the 200 about 65% of the time. But I liked the -200. So many good “tell me about a time” stories.
The same places. Not the same W2.
Nor the same crap hotels. The same places. Not the same W2.

Nailed it. This job is about dollars and days off, not places. All my friends that are new at Delta. “I’m going to the same damn places.”
but hey... ETOPS pays extra!

I may be a bit of a hypocrite as I sip my beer in Kona, but hey... ETOPS pays extra!
I feel that way about most airports.Screw that. Dollars and days off are obviously priority number one, but if I never see DAY, CAE, and ATL again I’ll be a happy man.
Isn't Envoy having issues getting people in the left seat? Now they're expanding the fleet? This summer will be fun for all of us...
I’m pretty sure half the 200s have an inop APU right now. A 200 trip is almost always a guarantee for constant delays so I try and avoid them if I can.
I fly 200s a lot, like a lot, it's really a crap shoot, sometimes I block in 15-20 minutes early for weeks at a time, other times the whole day is a rush to catch up, but it doesn't matter if it's a 2, 7 or 9.
I think maybe experience was a bit unique as the -200s we were flying for UAX were the oldest 14 planes we had in the fleet. For that reason, Delta ended the contracts in them and UAX apparently wanted some cheap feed.
Definitely the beaters of the fleet. Every day was like a LOFT.
Every day in the C-130 is a LOFT, our 200s are ok, I have a few there we were/I learned about that stories in the 2, but my stories are about 75/25 mil/airline. I'm thankful for all of it though.
The plan as I’ve heard it is for PSA to grow DCA to replace TSA’s flying and for Piedmont to grow CLT to replace the 50-seat flying that PSA is not going to be doing anymore.Yes.
We've been told we will be hull-neutral, so no expansion... although no mention of how we are supposed to fill in for TSA in DCA.
And yep.

I imagine it’s the aircraft they’re referring to but it could mean a DCA base for Envoy. You guys desperately need a new base to attract DECs. LGA and all that reserve in LGA entails is a giant hurdle for many. And that's what would make sense. I'm just going off of the new's articles stating that TSA's flying out of DCA will be transferred to Envoy. Unless of course they're just referring to the 15 -145's we're getting back from TSA, and not the actual routes.
