Yes, they show up every few years, and every few years everyone throws a fit, waxing polemical about business suits and real linens, etc etc. I say bring on the microseats. I'll have bidness or better in my contract and the more proles they can squeeze in the back, the more $$$ I can split with the company.

I believe the certification standard is to be able to evacuate everyone within two minutes. The test has several aspects to it that are definitely not real world, but even at that, I can't see an airliner packed that tight being able to get everyone out in two minutes.
