I was really upset when I found out this happened in a hotel and not on a plane. I'll bet this is more common than many may think.

FWIW, I know of a certain US air line (!) that this used to happen at during a layover in a certain African layover. It’s a story told over beers though.

They do have very rigorous standards of appearance for their flight attendants. If only the other facets of their airline were held to such ideals.

Buahaha. No. Just no. LAD was a min rest layover for one....there are many other reasons why I doubt this is to what he was referring. Amusing thought though!
