How to throw yourself under the bus

Still not letting me send but shoot me a pm next time you're flying in/out. If I'm working I'll try and hook it up

Don't let my rapists wit deceive you, most controllers aren't any brighter than the average pilot.

Some people might need a reference for that one ...

Soooo, next time I’m flying UPS 2076 into EWR or 1083 outbound back to Hooverville, how do I get “priority handling” ahhhh...without actually needing priority handling?!? You know, for the dinner run...

Is there a “safe word” to use or can I just name drop?
Don’t do it man. His vectors are awful. @NovemberEcho, I’ve get several EWR turns coming up next week. Remember I enjoy direct BUZZD or DOOIN.

Ugh if I'm going to Cali I'm going San Diego.

It's all good. I have 0 desire to move to Cali. Only way I'm leaving here is if I can get to Denver or Charlotte.

Honestly I went to college in SD and would highly recommend it. Cost of living is high but still less than San Francisco/New York/LA.

Also just got a tour of Socal Approach recently and loved it. I'm sure it's no N90 though, and I hope I can badger you for a tour if I ever make it out to NYC!

No thanks, no offense intended. There are some nice neighborhoods, but it's the high desert, really strong winds, tempurature extremes. I've been eyeing Simi if I decide to move and stay in the area.

Palmcaster sucks. Some people make it work. The small town alternatives (Rosamond, Tehachapi) aren't much better. ZLA is a very cool facility though and seems reverse commutable for a lot of more desireable places. I still wanna visit High Desert TRACON (E10) at Edwards. Anybody know someone up there?

Oh I don’t live there.

The only time I'll regularly give out the number is for blatant Class B violations (you'd be amazed how many people fly through the B squawking 1200 then call for FF on the other side) and for people who completely jack up the Ruudy departure off TEB and climb into the EWR final.

The big problem with the RUUDY 6 is that some aircrafts' VNAV functions don't do a good enough job of capturing the initial level off. I don't use VNAV on that departure for that reason.

Another PITA about that departure is that it's a noise abatement departure off of 24, under 200kts, and a quick level. You can't really fly the recommended NBAA noise abatement procedure and comply with the crossing procedure without getting a TA or gear warning...and in some cases both. Haha

We haven't had a Christmas party in 3 years cause at the last one we had there were 2 fights, with one of them being a chick fight. They don't let us have nice things anymore.
Might be an aviation thing, the police got called/people got fired(and babies were born to parents that were happily married to 2 different people...on 2 different occasions) for every single company held party that the regional airline I used to work for tried to organize. Pretty sure it would be even worse if we ever did that with the ramp tower crew.

And we all know what happens when 40+ pilots descend upon Vegas for full-swing NJC.
