Isnt there a name for that? Corporate raiding or something?
It’s called “buying and selling.” It’s the basis of all commerce.

Where is it on APC? Looked and couldnt find it under majors. Also why would Endeavor be sold? If anything, expressjet will be merged into skywest now that they are loosing the Delta contract. Hopefully Endeavor doesnt turn into another Comair type situation where they make money then sell off the regional.
It literally comes down to corporate raiding only Delta is doing it instead of an outside source. It’s called “buying and selling.” It’s the basis of all commerce.
Could go the American route and have it all be based on check-in time.

In the 1980s Icahn developed a reputation as a "corporate raider" after profiting from the hostile takeover and asset stripping of the American airline TWA.[2][3
I’m curious what makes you think that?
Air Fryer...? I’m listening. If you look at the medium-term fleet plan with the CS series, owning a regional literally makes no sense when you intend on doing most of that level of flying yourself.
It's not personal, but judging by the history of the airline, if EDV is on the books in 3 years, I'd be very surprised.
Think of it like a deep fat fryer. They're delicious, convenient and make awesome french fries. Now you pick up an Air Fryer, does the exact same job, hardly any oil and ultimately healthier. But you've only got a limited cupboard space...

You had me at “fry”...OH YES! Best thing ever if you love fried food. Uses no oil (you can use a little if you want it ultra crispy) and I can make you buffalo wings that you swore were deep fat fried, but they're not.
Sorry guys I know it's non-sequitur, ban me if you want.http://www.blackanddeckerappliances...nd-deep-fryers/hf100wd-purifry-air-fryer.aspx

A nice side hustle for the majors is to cut their contract with a feeder, run it in to bankruptcy, buy it for pennies on the dollar, then sign another contract with them and go public.
Plus "Newco". Which didn't go public but was sold off to TSA.If I'm not mistaken Northwest did this multiple times with Endeavor's predecessor airlines.
