After a few years of playing the 135 game hauling boxes and medical patients, I recently decided to join the regional rat race....slipped through the cracks once again and passed my E145 type ride with Envoy this morning. Should get called for IOE within a few days..

Grats.

Now when your captain who went CFI—->regional jet whinges about something you can puff out your chest and give em the “no s, there I was...” stories from your 135 days.
All the CAs at my shop are ex bush rats so my stories pale in comparison :ooh:. Congrats btw, easiest job ever. Also, I really like my Patagonia Blackhole backpack ;), but I’ve got nothing on the hair gel!

Keep your head in the books as I imagine you’ll upgrade immediately after you log your 1,000 121 hours.

Enjoy the Jungle Jet. My favorite hand-Flying jet.

May I recommend AXE hair gel for the clean cut look.

One of my all time favorite movies.

I would say that the measure of the Cohen Bros' genius is that I *love* that movie, and I don't even think it's one of their best. The last few scenes of No Country for Old Men, for example, give me that special fizz which (for me, at least) connotes Art. But we may have digressed, a bit. Congrats on reaching what by all appearances is a damned good 121 job, A150K. We're all counting on you.

Starting IOE tomorrow... are you in ORD on reserve? How’s that going? I’ll be joining you up there shortly.

You can’t swing a dead cat without hitting another ORD 145 reserve FO these days, it’s going to be a knife fight over consolidation time.

And some old regional captain will say, "and we don't do that crap here."
