Jepp Chart Error JFK

Anyone operating into Jfk who uses Jepps notice an error on the ILS 4R approach plate? It suddenly lists a PAPI on the left. Our NOTAMs say ‘Glidepath and VGSI not coincident.’ Cool! I thought, they installed a PAPI. Flew in Sunday night....no PAPI. Just texted a controller and yes, no PAPI on our equipment list. Files attached.

I thought I was going crazy because we were looking for VGSI's at some of the airports and were thinking they must have been NOTAMd out. When we had time on the ground we realized there was nothing installed.

PANC has a 100° error on a feeder route on one of the newly revised IAP charts. Also they changed the course on everything off the VOR by 2°, but I assume that’s from realigning the VOR not errors in the charts.

Meanwhile at Jepp HQs...
Land Full of cubicles...one employee pops up...
"Hey Stan, Does JFK have a PAPI on 4R?"
"I don't know, yeah probably, just put one there"
Based on what I’ve heard from a guy who had to work closely with Jeppesen...that sounds about right.

How about the LAS ILS 26L frequency being wrong for at least a month now. I don't think it's just a jepp issue though. The MCDU ( FMS ) also has the wrong freq so the correct one in posted on the atis.

That's not the least bit true. It's more like this-

"Ok, good morning, welcome to our weekly compiler meeting. We've gotten complaints about about a PAPI being listed for KJFK 4R where there isn't one. We've done exhaustive research on this including looking at the AIP and even calling Kennedy ops, and we've discovered that the person who drafted the chart inadvertently used a 10pt font instead of the 8pt font that our spec book so obviously calls for PAPI info to be printed in. We aren't sure how this error made it through, but we'll need to make sure that the PAPI is listed in the correct size font for the next chart cycle.

Speaking of font issues, it appears the ILS 26L frequency at KLAS didn't just get published with the wrong font size, but also the wrong font, we'll need to fix that issue as well."

Our MCDU has the right frequency, strangely enough.

After all the money and training for OAPM, SFO is back to using the BSR3 because of some kind of charting error on the SERFR.

First day back at work from a long weekend and Im trying to clear people direct SERFR causing mass confusion my first session haha.

The issue is fixed now. What happened was the localizer frequency was supposed to be changed/updated and due to funding issues it wasn’t done. Meanwhile jepp wasn’t aware it didn’t get done and published the new frequency. Still was funny to watch the pilots blow through the localizer after they’d said they had the atis. Then go hey we aren’t picking up the localizer

Errors like on a dark crappy night, first time being there, would have me a bit torqued....
