about this and had this agents back. Something along the lines of "Our agents are sick of being recorded when entitled passengers who, of fault of their own, don't get their way, antagonizing our employees, then only record the part where our employee has finally lost their patience."

Put the phone down, and act like a decent human being. Something something honey, not vinegar.

Somewhere along the line, it seems like a lot of people decided that air travel was a "Right" instead of a "Luxury."

I don't know how/where it started....maybe with de-regulation. It's not just airline travel, but airline travel seems to bring out a very specific kind of jerk behavior....

I think it's a sign of the times and unfortunately the new world order. Social graces have been kick to the curb and replaced with self important, entitled and classless (clueless) individuals who believe the world was solely setup for their own personal use while they treat others as subservient space-wasters.

And, any time the rest of the world doesn't spin their way they scream to the high heavens that their "rights" have been violated. I love it when they use the phrase "my rights" in foreign countries as if the US Constitution follows them when they are not on US soil. Of course, most have no idea what their rights are or what exactly has been violated, they are simply parroting what they see on TV, news, social media or the latest lawyer commercial claiming everyone and everything has violated your "right$" and you need to be paid.

I've said it before and I will say it again......boxes don't b^tch.

Well said.

And on a side note....you, like me, have had the same avatar for ten years, I think. And yours still cracks me up every time I see it.

Agreed on the foreign countries. US citizens who think going to North Korea and yanking down one of their propaganda signs (who the hell goes there anyway), or goes to Singapore and committs petty crimes, or wants to go hiking....so hey....since there's not anywhere good in the entire USA to go hike, why don't we go to this remote obscure mountain range in Iraq that skirts the Iranian border. That's a great idea for a nice quiet Sunday hike!

Our agents are sick of being recorded when entitled passengers who, of fault of their own, don't get their way,

How was it the passengers fault his flight got delayed twice and they put him on an Alaskan flight instead? The DAL agent was refusing to look for his bags because he flew in on Alaska/Hawaiian and not DAL even though he had checked his bags with DAL and had a DAL claimcheck. Sorry, but sometimes it really is the employees who are the dicks, not the customer. And sure enough, DAL had his bags.

Maybe they want to get as far from other American's like the one in this video as possible....

Guys, I don't really care what happened before the video starts, there is no excuse for a customer facing rep to lose his temper or call someone names.

I've had a position as a customer service manager. I've had people scream, curse, square off at me. They've threatened to do me harm, mess up my car, and sue me. I've heard "do you know who I am" and have been threatened with the police, fbi, and the freaking homeland security.

Never once did I lose my cool, refuse to do my job, or call the customer names.

Anyone going to North Korea or Iran at this moment is asking for trouble.
