Management can definitely surprise me but I highly doubt we will be hiring in March and probably for the rest of this year.

If we hire again this year without opening more domestic desks, it wont go over well in the group. The new hires wouldnt be well received. Yes there are retirements planned but we have hired so much already the past 6 months and the end result is basically OT drying up.

That’s kind of the point of hiring people from the company’s perspective isn’t it?

Cheaper to pay new guys wages than OT for the rest?

There is a shortage of people willing to train as it stands now. If we hire more later this year, I think there will be even fewer willing to train both from burnout and feeling as if they are training people who will take money out of their pockets.

The OT has been drying up already and we still have a bunch of people that are still in OJT from the first two classes not to mention 15 more who have been in class for two and a half months that are about to come to the floor for OJT. While there are some retirements coming this year and next Im not so sure that they are enough to justify another class this year or next.
