2017 hours and maps

Very slow year!
233 hours with about 4 more to go before the new year.
After 17 years of flying, I've finally made it past 3,000 hours TT!

about 250 for the year, lowest in 5 years, but that’s because i’m in the school house now, should be a check airmen sometime next year.

best part is, i average about 25 nights home a month!

Interesting. I'm averaging about 25 nights gone.

The maps are snazzy and all, but honestly, the best result would be a lot of money and a dot on the map.
THIS sounds great. When they're ready to hire please shoot me a PM (don't want the others to apply first!). :confused2:

As for me, I've been and am blessed with 203hrs, 18 overnights, increase in pay...........all is good.

I haven't kept a logbook since 2010 but if I had to guess I'd say I've flown about 600 hours.
Just flew with a captain about a year away from retirement and he was very diligent with his little red books and it piqued my interest so I asked him why he was still logging his time.

“When I was hired in 1983 at Eastern Airlines I thought I won the lottery and was set for life and then I was on strike for two years and trying to fill out applications with no idea how much flight time I had...”

(Don’t know if those dates or years are right, I’m paraphrasing)

Yup. I was hired at USAir in 99’ and didn’t keep a logbook until I was furloughed in 2002. Company provided me with monthly totals but then had to recreate a logbook to apply for jobs post 9/11. I’ll never again be more than a few weeks behind on either a logbook or a resume. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
