I'm just going to leave this riiiiiiight here...

You miss all the shots you don't take.

That doesn’t mean you can’t say things like “I find this uniform to be an impractical, outmoded homage to a long-gone era and I wish I could wear pants appropriate to a January walk-around”, but it does mean that if the company says “no North Face jacket” you don’t wear a North Face jacket.
Do not put the Captain into a position in which he must choose between enforcing and ignoring uniform rules.

(Like wearing your frakkin' North Face.)

This. I’m a super laid back dood, but come on man. The boss man pays you do something a certain way, just suck it up and do it.

Flightsuits for everyone. Practical, protective, rational. @ATN_Pilot

Aside from keeping you hot in the summer and cold in the winter, I hear they can hold 12-12oz cans of ones favorite beverage. Also, the Velcro name badge can be inverted so one can easily recall one’s name after consuming said beverages.

If they looked more like the 50-mission crush and less like the bus driver...

Liked primarily for the Tintin reference.

Double like.

There's a middle ground. Blatant disregard of uniform standards that makes you look really terrible might be something that a captain should bring up. Otherwise, don't be a toolbag.

Yeah wait, are you going to get in trouble for what your F/O is wearing? If the answer is "no", why do you care?

Man, what a horrible attitude. I can think of a whole hell of a lot of things that someone could do that won’t get me personally in trouble, but I’m certainly not going to overlook them if I’m the guy in a leadership position.

I usually don’t say much, but how hard is it to wear the blazer (or whatever is required) over a fleece north face? I mean, Id love a jacket option like SWA or Alaska has but I do what I’m told. To me uniform stuff is just like the SOP....just do your job the way the Man pays you too. Easy peasy.
