Does anyone have any info on Boutique? I’m considering shooting in a resume but will not be able to support my family on the current FO salary of $25k a year. Is the upgrade time truly 4-6 months? Do they allow commuting? I can’t find too much info on their website except that their looking for pilots.

Word on the street is they were on the downhill side of the typical 135 EAS boom/bust cycle.

I second @Roger Roger with inside info. I give them two years. Rumors of some base closings coming soon. In addition I believe they just lost some EAS routes. Well technically the city routes were canceled due to nonperformance, not due to anything BTQ did. Many EAS communities just don't have enough traffic for EAS.

I didn't realize they were going after eas. I thought they were suppose to be for commuters between major cities. Is that not working out either?

It’s the usual sad story...startup point to point service isn’t as profitable as expected, go after low-hanging EAS fruit, discover that’s a fools game, go after more of it, become overcommitted and can’t pay employees or vendors, whole thing comes crashing down and the guys that leased them PC12s or 208s take some of the money they’ve made, cycle the planes through heavy check, and get ready to lease them to the next overly-optimistic fools.

I hope my buddy gets out of there. He took the job in DEN because his family was from there, but sounds like the company didn't really deliver the promised schedule at all.
