My very subjective research says that of the main airline employee groups (pilots, maintenance, dispatch, ramp, flight attendants) dispatch takes the cake for alcoholism.
I've seen examples that could make that case.

That's when you throw it in the freezer. My comment was because the cup doesn't do anything keeping the water and beer separated, or help in any way...Gotta do what ya gotta do! I don't do it a lot but if I get caught with hot/room temp beer, I gotta do something!
Haven’t spent much time in SE Asia I take it ...That's when you throw it in the freezer. My comment was because the cup doesn't do anything keeping the water and beer separated, or help in any way...

All I was saying was a Yeti mug or glass isn't going to do anything for you. I've drank warm beer many times. It happens. It's not the grossest thing I've drank, so there's that...
With the Yeti reference, I assumed, wrongly apparently, that he was referring to being home. Mea culpa.
*I'll add, who brings a Yeti cup out with them?
See?Oh I know, just poking a little fun.
Beer over ice was surprisingly not as gross as I was expecting it to be lol.
That's some strong marketing right there...But the ice doesn't melt as quickly in those YETI cups. Since it doesn't melt as quick, there is less water to begin with.
Once the beer is cold, it doesn't take long for it to disappear down my throat anyhow!![]()

See?
Don't knock it until you try it!
Oh, I have a couple of them. I agree they're good cups when something is at a temperature and keeping it there. To say they keep ice from melting when introduced to a warm liquid, I think goes a little far in their abilities...They are really good cups! So are the RTIC cups which are similar!
And no, I make nothing from posting their brands on here!![]()
Just as a point of order, drinking beer over ice while seated in a kindergarten sized chair on a sidewalk in Chang Mai = acceptable and good
Drinking beer over ice due to poor planning and a lack of creative approaches to chilling said beer = failboat

“Beer over ice” is a good description of any standard American beer that has been diluted to be served in Utah restaurants

You work in dispatch ? I thought we were all pros. So, a few years ago I was in UT doing some training - I went out to a restaurant with my new coworkers and was trying to get a buzz on...they cut me off before I could even get a buzz!

Go to a school for it. You've already got past the hard part (ATP).No - I'm a pilot, I'm not worthy - still, I literally couldn't drink fast enough in UT...it was a big problem.
Though, how does a pilot get a dispatch cert?
