How an Airbus A380 survived an engine failure

I'll restate and say that me a US citizen coming home to the US involves more BS than most countries I travel to.

Maybe depends on the airport, but I do a dozen of international trips a year and in most cases it takes me about 30 seconds to clear US customs and border.

Most airports that I fly to have both Global Entry and Mobile Passport lanes, I just pick the shorter one.

Out of 40 or so countries I've visited the only comparable experience was in Canada (with Nexus) and in Australia (without anything special, just went to the kiosk, scanned my non-Australian passport, walked out of the terminal)

By far the worst was Russia.

There's nothing quite as invasive and inefficient as returning to your own country, except for maybe India, that's a goat rodeo all its own.
I can step off the jet and be in my truck usually within 30 minutes of block in from Asia.
