Blogger/journalist suggests AA crew "drunk" for flight path to JFK

While many didn't like Tomorrow Never Dies plot line, it has some of the best quotes for a Bond movie.

The movie also had the best villain, even though he took only ~5 minutes screentime. Dr. Kauffman.
 
It was a video. AA social media responded tactfully. Hopefully they got lawyers involved in the background.

I think this is a pretty important lesson. The internet's a great education tool and anyone who happened to follow her story can see that she made the mistake of making a serious accusation on a topic she had no experience on and also in that she should have never double downed and at least considered the possibility that she was wrong. I just wish a lot of young pilots were more humble. From what I hear of some extremely qualified and experienced regional captains there's a lot of new FOs who could desperately learn from her example.
 
As the article suggests, it's not the spouting off in a rude way on a subject you know nothing about...if that were a crime, half the internet would be in e-prison. It's the ASTONISHING willingness to double down again and again even as the tiniest sliver of hope of not looking like a complete jackass disappears over the horizon. I'm almost impressed.

I doubt she really is that ignorant, I suspect she did all of this as clickbait to get more attention and followers, possibly hoping it would help advance her career as a "journalist". Judging by the reaction and the fact that online articles have been written about it, it seems her plan worked for now, though it may not lead to any career advancement. As they say there's no such thing as bad publicity.

If she thought that would advance her career then she is an idiot. There was a journalist or something not too long ago who posted something stupid while she was air born on her way back from Europe to find when she landed back in the U.S that her career was pretty much over due to her stupidity. This day in age the internet is the judge jury and executioner. Not that this girl really had a career anyway. A guest 'blogger' really doesnt count.
