Looks like she got her comeuppance in the comments. I wonder if she knows or cares that something so ridiculous is now an unrevokable piece in her body of work available for all serious future employers to enjoy.

No, she is a freelancer and her last article was published by the Times 2-3 years ago

Ah, guess I should do my research before hand as well then.... I'll just say that I'm really starting to get annoyed towards media and journalism in general. Not only the horrible coverage of aviation related issues but all of the political banter just makes me want to throw random things at my TV.

My favorite part of all of that was the people chiming in saying "you're wrong, and here's why"
And her response "Troll!"

Not only troll, but, "You only have two followers, so you don't know anything. Troll."

Like the amount of followers one has on twitter is what defines experience and knowledge.

I'm not even on twitter. I guess according to her, my 11K+ flight hours and 22+ years 121 flying don't mean a thing because I have zero followers.

This here is one of those problems with "the media" -- anybody with a computer or smartphone can consider themselves a "journalist."

"Journalism" is dead.

Can somebody edit the title? It's an insult to those like Walter Cronkite.
