Zero effort Boeing

Ha! Just walked though the Vegas terminal after flying my "Basic Pokémon 737" and they were playing Xanadu over the terminal speakers.

Sweet mother of mercy I'm getting old.

Yes we are. My grey isn't so anachronistically funny anymore! :)

Want to feel old? Go see Cars 3. I've never felt so old and obsolete as when I left that movie with my kid

Basically all of Pixars movies are lead-ins to a new ride at Disney.

Wait until you're in a corporate cockpit one day. Then you'll yearn for the large flight deck of the 737 :)

Haha. I Spent a lot of time in the Falcon 10. I definitely don't miss the shoulder rub. Though, I think I might be able to handle a little of that in retirement, with a cute 20 something gal coming up through the ranks. ;)

And yet, like a bunch of chumps, we still pay hard earned scratch to visit those parks!

My kids recently "talked me" into 3 days at Disney. I had to pick up an extra trip just to pay for the cost of the churros! :D

a chump for going to Disney? we love it. We go multiple times a year.
I say "chump" with a large dose of humor but also with a bit of honesty. We hit the parks every few years and always have a great time. There is a part of me that is amazed and slightly irritated about the crazy rise in cost over the past five/six years for a visit to any Disney park.

meh we get 40% off lodging and 3-5 day park hopper tickets right under $200 depending on land or world with the military deals so it's like a normal vacation for us

This, I can understand, especially with kids

wat
"Look! They moved the trashcans from Space Mountain closer to the turkey leg cart. So smart"

see above.

40% ! Nice discount! My airline discounts don't come close. SWA gets some great deals but not much beyond interline level stuff when it comes to anything Disney. In other words it's still dang expensive, but I also have five kids.

We hijacked this thread nicely!
