But that's about to change.
There's only so much fun you can have CFIIing in a 172 in FL.
Signed up to fly the baby jungle jet pt 135.

It is the Phenom 300. Yes it is certified to be flown single pilot. Part 135 OpSpec says two pilots, so it is two pilots. Also there is this

The EMB-505 type rating is approved for pilots who satisfactorily complete the type rating practical test in the EMB-505 as a single pilot. A pilot with the EMB-505 type rating may operate the aircraft as a single pilot, or operate as a pilot in command (PIC) with a second in command (SIC) on the aircraft.

I think you're at the same place a buddy of mine just got hired on to as well. He's moving down to FL right meow. Congrats

@ozziecat35 I've no idea how the mutual friend is gonna fit into one of these things. I'm 5'10" and I'm marginally comfortable with the pedals all the way forward and seat one click from full back to allow for minimum recline

What is Embraer's fascination with the ram's horn handle bar? Very nice set up though. A CA at XJT told me its so tall larger pilots have proper knee clearance.

It feels a bit unusual, but I need to put some meaningful time on it to pirep on liking/disliking. So far button placement etc feels alright.
Legacy has a fbw sidestick
