My lock is up literally next week. Oh well!
But now I'm thinking SEA 7ER or LAX 7ER. SEA's got all that Asia but LAX is basically down the street.
Fly with @ClarkGriswold and flick boogers at him while he's on break or basically being able to drive to work in a pinch. Hmmm….

Curious, because Derg makes it sound like both himself and Peanuckle got an A320 upgrade by basically a mistake in vacancy bidding in terms of what options they had put in. Is it really that bad/complicated re: vacancy bidding, that stuff like this happens?
We use Flica for bidding, and before it closes you can click on the "what if" award button, and it tells you what you would hold at that instant if nothing else changed (as in, if no one else changed their bid, what you would be holding). That is an invaluable tool that helps show what you could hold / projected to hold before the bid is closed. Also an easy way to catch an improper bid, though that would be hard to screw up with only one plane and 3 bases....... But pilots being pilots, even that has happened here before.

I knew what I had on my "card," and I knew it was a possibility.
In my case, it was more of a hold my beer, let's see what happens moment since just a few months ago someone hired 10 years before me was the junior ATL 320 captain.
