Sure. I get that scenario. But if it was that close -to wit, not even clear of the wingspan- it would be madness for the jet to continue, no? Since they collided, I suppose it was madness. Just seems extremely unsusual that someone would continue with a truck that close.No it was past the fuselage and got tipped by the wing
Also, the physics/geometry/relative motion of the thing just don't smell right. The truck would have had to have been moving pretty slowly to clear the nose of the plane, then have the plane move forward far enough that the truck was struck by the wingtip, while at the same time the truck moved forward less than the distance of one wing's span. If it was that slow, why didn't they see and avoid?
