What's going on? It seems like everytime they can't land on the 31s, they have a ground delay program.

Because of the 4R closure due to construction, basically the only options are 31L/R or 13L/R. The 13's only have one approach to both runways so the arrival rate is cut in half.

The VOR/RNAV to the 13s isn't too bad, but once the ceiling goes < 1000 they tend to go to the ILS 13L which is a 4 hour GDP typically. 22L should reopen daytime only In June or July I think....

JFK is nothing but pain for a corporate pilot. The Sheltair there is probably one of the top 10 worse FBO's that I've ever had the displeasure of walking into.

As much as TEB sucks. GA in NYC would be terrible if it ever went away.

Signature at EWR is pretty decent. I picked somebody up there in the Cirrus once at my last job.....that was interesting.

That signature is not bad. But that LGA Sheltair is not what an FBO in the US is all about. I've been to municipal airport trailer FBO's that are better than that Sheltair.

Where else can you get *this* close to a homeless schitzophrenic pooping on the sidewalk whilst simultaneously being offered fake hand-bags and watches from criminals from EVERY CONTINENT? SOOOOOO Cosmopolitan! Also don't step in the poop or stand too close to the subway.

I meant to say the JFK Sheltair. The LGA Sheltair is actually quite nice. But you can't pull right up to it and park. You have to shuttle your pax back and forward from a remote ramp to access the aircraft. This makes pee and coffee breaks for the flight crew extremely inconvenient.

Now JFK? It's downright horrible!
