At the OBAP Spring Career Fair in Vegas last year I overheard one of the FX guys talk about in the pre-PilotCredentials days when applicants had to physically mail in their applications, how joyously they immediately threw away any one that arrived via UPS.

That makes sense to me. Kind of a tact thing.

Back in the day, there was at least one applicant, in a mad rush to get their app in before the hiring window closed, FedEx'ed their resume overnight to UPS HR Dept. I'm guessing not one of them was ever called for an interview...

A friend of a friend got one..

They changed the website to say "you'll be notified by April 12" now. Hopefully more go out tomorrow.

Friend got one. Doesn't have 1000 TPIC, but his dad just retired from Fedex. Don't know what all plays into getting an invite to the career fair.

Anyone not get an invite with a strong app? I'm wondering if something is keeping some apps screened. Have had an app in for 7 months updated regularly - 1600 PIC tac air, current 737 type with 250 hrs in the last 12 months blah blah blah. Signed up within the first 5 min for the expo.

Most guys I know getting calls have logged landings on Mars.
