Electronic Logbook

So I'm finally getting around to going from paper to electronic and have a question for those who did...they way my paper one is set up is by pairing....however the electronic program doesn't have a start/stop date. Just a space for one day....should I just put the end date of the pairing? Or???
Thanks!

Are there any electronic logbooks that can basically import your schedule from Flica, if you're a 121 pilot…
Let's say (asking for a friend) you're a couple years behind on your logbooks.. you have everything from your GA days in paper logs, but your 121 stuff is just the small crew-logs that you typically get at an airline crew store..
Do you need to spend hours/days/weeks entering each flight into an electronic logbook, or is there a magic way to have it import it all from Flica and then you go and edit what you need - things such as which landings were yours, etc….

Actual instrument time? Does anyone even care anymore? in 121 we get such little actual, actually.. I heard someone say once that they just enter 10% of their total time as instrument, on an application.
And when interviewing at the bigger companies, do they really want or need to see your logbooks for all your 121 flying? I can understand at the regionals, because most are coming from limited experience.. but if you're interviewing at jetBlue or Delta or Atlas or wherever after several years flying 121, do they really need to verify 3 January's ago, the flight on the 22nd between PBI and ATL? I mean, seriously?
I've recently flown with a captain who has everything from his discovery flight to 121 captain flights logged electronically and meticulously, and printed them out and put in a binder for a major-121 interview…
Also know a lot of captains who want to move on but haven't even logged in a small crew-log in 10 years and wouldn't even hazard a guess as to their hours…..
