No Medical Available?

"Never tell me the odds!"
What does it mean when someones airman inquiry result on the FAA website says "No medical available".

Could mean any number of things from a deferral by the AME to a Special Issuance review to a denial to a revocation. You don't know what without more information.

In this case it is a pilot I know that is in some legal trouble. The pilot got busted for possession of prescription drugs, stolen of course from a roommate. The case is proceeding in its usual glacial method through the legal system. I'm wondering if the pilot's medical was revoked. I know the medical was renewed this time last year as a class 2. So if it was still valid it should show on the pilot record. That it doesn't leads me to believe it was revoked.

Don't take it personally, but why on earth do so many "guys you know" seem to have weird crap going on with them?

To be honest many of the guys I know have weird crap going on with them - ask CW lol,

Also, isn't he a helicopter pilot - that would explain a lot ;-)

It isn't me if anyone is worried. This is the same "guy" I have referred to the past. This pilot was caught doing drugs on an overnight. Unbelievably wasn't fired as a result. Got busted by cops for stealing prescription meds. Got arrested and spent some days behind bars. Still flying on last years medical. Believed they did not have to report till next medical. Then got popped by the police again a few months ago. And has all new charges on top of the old charges which were under deferment.

This by the way is a fixed wing pilot. ;) But yes it takes a special type of person to willingly get in a helicopter day in and day out. I teach in them too so I am REALLY special.
