Aviation New Year's Resolutions

I hope to use my flight benefits to visit at least 6 new countries. I want to take at least 4 nice trips with my wife and kids, and to spend at least a few days wandering around a city that I have currently never heard of and explore it by myself.

As far as me actually flying, just keeping doing what I am doing and keep moving things along.

Get my MEI. Sign off 4 or 5 AMEL studs that don't then hook their rides. Multi hours that I need for myself are implicit in there.

Become a Night Systems Instructor. Doesn't add to the paycheck, but it's a trophy I want to unlock. 200 hours on the goggles. I think I can pass some knowledges.

Wow, good to see so many moving ahead. My goal is to win the lottery or hit a jackpot in Vegas so I can tell the "Man" to shove it, and everyone moves up a number.

Conversely, if I can figure out how to only fly one trip a month but get paid the full enchilada, that works too.

Shoot. If I win the lottery, people are going to wonder what happened to me.

"Whatever happened to Mikey?"

"I think he won the lottery. He said something about hookers and blow, and just disappeared."

Sometime this year, I want to walk away from this corporate gig and go fly EMS again. Don't know how the numbers will work out but I think I can make it work with the 7/7/ schedule.

Also, I would like to take the ARH (Written Exam) just to have it on my certificate. Has anyone taken the ARH Exam? I'm curious your thoughts and recommendations. Thank you!
