CFI AFA Airplane added rating question bank

"Never tell me the odds!"
I am studying for the written for a added CFI rating (I already hold the CFI/CFII for Helicopters).

Is there a specific subsection selection of items on the written or are the questions taken from the entire CFI test (without of course the FOI).

Trying to see if should limit my focus on certain subject areas or just study everything.

Probably best to study everything, given it will be airplane related?

An interesting aside. When I did the CFIA and CFII writtens, I did both as initials (no endorsement needed). The addon writtens are shorter, but need an endorsement. There is text somewhere in the PTS that allows this.

My trick was to drill the American flyers free writtens (if they still offer them) until I got 3x90+

Alex.

Question banks are small...pretty sure the CFI-A is 500 question bank. I think it's random what you'll get on your test so just know all the categories. You can do it over a weekend, doesn't take long.

If you really love writtens I'm sure you could do ASA preps.

It seems like every week the same question is asked, and it's the same answer.

Shepard will never get a dime from me. Yes there is a story there and no I am not going to share it.
