It seems that the leader of the APA over at the new American a bit peeved about falling behind their "peers" pay wise at DAL and SWA. I'll attach a link but for you tl;dr folks I'll post this little gem of a quote,

"When they see their neighbor down the street from Southwest making 20 percent more ... doing essentially the exact same job and they're home more days, it grates on them,"

I almost spit out my coffee when I read this. An entire subset of literally thousands of men and women "doing essentially the exact same job" for 50 to 70 % less than what he earns and he's gonna bellyache about not earning the same as his "peers". YGTBSM.

Spoken as though the APA had nothing to do with the state of labor/management relations at American.
